Despite its name, regulars at Owen’s Ordinary say that this popular North Bethesda gastropub and beer garden is anything but ordinary. In fact, one of the first things you're likely to notice when you walk through the door is that while parts of the pub seem like a typical restaurant, other areas are styled to mimic a Victorian home, with colorful wallpaper, sliding pocket doors, bookshelves filled with old tomes, and plenty of wood paneling.
Sit down with a couple of pints and a group of friends to regale each other with stories and jokes, or bring the whole family for dinner next time you'd rather not do the cooking yourself. Signature menu items include the house-made Bavarian pretzels served with beer cheese (especially popular during this place's lively happy hour) and the roasted half chicken topped with a dollop of salsa verde.
